Permaculture Picnic - 2025

Mission: To educate as many people as possible to grow their own food.

In our opinion, one of the biggest mistakes we've made as humans was giving up our knowledge to grow our own food. Weather you have a farm, a yard or just an apartment with a window, this event will begin the process of teaching you how to make gardening happen. No matter your growing conditions and climate.

We're bringing in experts from around the world and within our local communities of Durango, Aztec and Farmington. There will be workshops and classes on such things as Bio-Char, Soil, Water Catchment, Social Permaculture, Financial Permaculture and so much more.

The Music will be Techno/House/Trance and maybe some more.

We'll have good food, art cars, world class stage builders and designers and music that makes you forget about everything.

Tico Time RV Resort in Aztec, New Mexico was began by the Holmes Family in 2019. Tico Time has 110 RV spots open year round and one of the goals of this event through hands on learning will be to turn the RV Park into an Eco-Based RV Resort.

Bring your scuba gear, because we're going deep.
